Episode 63: One Shot, One Game
One-shots and Con Games * We just wanted to remind you again that we attended Gen Con this year. * Fraser had a lot of fun running Kiss My Axe at Games on Demand. * Rob ran a quick one-shot of Mutants & Masterminds 3E. * Can you imagine an 8 hour game of D&D 3.5? Wow, that's both awesome and frightening. * Would your average game store patron know anything about Fiasco? * Rockin' and rollin' with the Enny award winning Old School Hack. * If Chris is talking about a good RPG system, he means Warhammer Fantasy Role-Playing Game. * Although he might be talking about Dark Heresy.
Other Things of Which We Speak * Rob and Chris both saw Cowboys & Aliens * This somehow morphs into a Highlander discussion. * There might have been a TV show, though I know for a fact, there can be only one. * Go listen to the Bear Swarm podcast. * They talk about the Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. * I picked up Robin Laws' the Esoterrorists at Gen Con. * It looks like it'd be perfect to run an X-Files game. * I also picked up The Esoterror Factbook and Albion’s Ransom: Little Girl Lost.
