The Accidental Survivors Podcast is holding a contest for modern gaming ideas, sponsored by RPG Objects. The idea can be anything, as big as a setting or campaign to as small as a single character or piece of equipment. Use your imagination! What about a criminal organization or an evil corporation? Perhaps a cocktail! Just about anything is grist for this mill.The idea should be presented in a one-page synopsis of no more than 500 words. If the idea includes a mechanical component, those mechanics need to be described in a system-neutral manner--so that an individual who does not know the system will understand the impact of the mechanics. Each submission must be in PDF format and include the entrant's name, address, email address and telephone number. There is a limit of one submission per person. The deadline for entries is Saturday January 31, 2009. Send your submissions to accidental@swordsedgepublishing.ca. Winners will be announced Tuesday, February 17, 2009. There will be three winners--first, second and third place. The winners will be contacted by email before officially announced on the Accidental Survivors podcast. The prizes include print copies of Blood and Fist, Blood and Relics, and Modern Backdrops from RPG Objects. |

Accidental Survivors: the Modern Gaming Podcast All music in podcast by Mindscape Music Too long for bloopers, too crappy for the actual podcast, Fraser took a bunch of stuff from the cutting room floor and shoved it into your MP3 player. Chris said it was all golden. Let's see how golden that might be. This is worse than most Accidental Survivors podcasts, so if you value your sanity at all, you'll walk away. Do not play this around people, even if they don't speak English. The profanity and insanity will infect even those who can't comprehend this pure horror. Oh, and do I need to say Not Safe For Work? |

E. Gary Gygax, one of the creators of Dungeons & Dragons, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2008. We at Accidental Survivors wanted to add our voices to the multitude remembering a man pivotal to our hobby.
